Dear Neil,
I am writing to you to thank you for the excellent conversion that you
undertook on our property.
As I think you are aware, we obtained a quotation from another large and
reputable firm who specialise in this area alongside your own. However,
having analysed both in detail and met with you, we decided that we would
prefer to work with a local company who knew the specific issues relevant to
properties like ours and also had established contacts with local surveyors
etc.
I recall that we received a very detailed summary of the works to be
conducted with supporting costs. Work commenced on schedule, converting
the three basement rooms and hall area into a livable and useable space.
We found that at every stage of the process you were particularly
accommodating of our requests and even when we reached the situation
where I decided that we should go back and dig two of the three rooms
deeper. Whilst this did set you back over a week, the situation was handled
without fuss.
We also worked with your electrician/plumber, Mike Warnock, who we found
to be incredibly efficient and meticulous in all of the work undertaken.
Not only did you and your team carry out all of the work which you specified
you also did a number of smaller jobs to integrate the conversion into the hall
area of the property such that the conversion now feels just like an additional
floor.
In summary 1can't praise highly enough the standards of workmanship
throughout the job. This experience was particularly exemplified by the fact that when I tried to carry out a snagging of the job I couldn't find a single thing
which hadn't been done in exactly the way we agreed and to the standards
that I would have expected!
You have created a great additional space for us, which all those who have
seen have admired. We spend so much time on our new floor we can't
imagine how we managed without it! Please pass on my thanks to all of your
team and well done again.

Dear Neil,
Please find enclosed what I think is the last payment instalment relating to the work on our basement. Whilst writing I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and all your team at Chestergate for the great job you were able to do for us.
When we began the work in May this year, we new it would be a major undertaking.
However the professional approach that you adopted made the process almost pain
free. Being able, within reason, to add to the project and adapt it as we went gave us
the scope to get the details, which are always difficult to pick up at the beginning, right.
Now the basement has been transformed and has added considerably to our living
space and I hope to the value of our house. Even our decorators commented on the
quality of the joinery and general finishes. I am also comforted to know, that given the
little bit extra we paid that we have not done anything that will undermine the investment
we have made both in the house and the basement.
